  • Idea Fairy: A person who dreams up an idea intending to help others without regard for its practical application in the real world. To illustrate, communism and extreme socialism were all ‘good ideas’ invented by well-meaning “Idea Fairies.” However, these forms of social organization are out of sync with human nature. Simply, for many reasons, it doesn’t work as an effective means of governing people. Another example is Prohibition in the United States, which was a ‘good idea’ invented by well-meaning “Idea Fairies.” However, this form of social control was unrealistic. For many reasons, it didn’t work as an effective means of governing people’s relationship with alcohol, leading instead to widespread lawbreaking, empowered criminal enterprises, and eventual repeal.

  • Woke or Wokeism: The deliberate attempt to impose contemporary and transient belief systems onto those who do not share these views. Wokeism prioritizes changeable, time-bound human perspectives over enduring or transcendent universal principles.
